「 Great Fullness 」Silver Pendant with Gold Inlay

It draws inspiration from Tao Te Ching—”Great fulness seems empty, yet its use is inexhaustible”.
Evolved from the traditional bat motif, it discards complicated carvings, retaining only a symbolic silhouette.Though there are gaps on its four sides, it never looks hollow;instead, these gaps lend the piece a more rounded and poised presence.
Two pieces of gold are inlaid on the front—they resemble teeth, yet are not. This subtly echoes “Bone Movement | Bone Spirit”, another theme launched by WJIE in the same period.
On the back, the metal purity mark, WJIE logo, as well as the hidden patterns of “bone spirit” and bat are engraved. The solid weight of silver and the sharp edge of gold complement each other perfectly.
A single “Great Fulness” pendant is like a small talisman.Quiet as it is, it gathers a powerful energy within.
It is also a low-key declaration of WJIE’s design philosophy:neither purely Western nor entirely Eastern;not a copy of tradition, nor a product of groundless creation.
The same motif is also available in jade carvings made of green jade and black jade.
Just as Lao Tzu put it, “Great fulness seems empty, yet its use is inexhaustible”.What appears to be blank space actually gives birth to endless possibilities.
